Our Client, a leading retailer is looking for an HR Controller (Business Partner) to focus specifically on Change and Behavioural Management and Training Duration: This is a contract role initially for 6 months Location: Covering the Midlands South and East. Ideally based Leicester, Coventry, northampton Salary: c£50,000 + car and benefits Managing a team of up to 8 HR Change Managers your role will be:
? To ensure the effective execution of change processes through leading a multi-skilled team of HR Change Managers. ? To ensure the effective integration of acquired businesses through provision of consistent HR support ? Leading the HR team to ensure effective change transformation in stores, managing the performance of individuals and ensuring objectives are met. ? Collaborate with Regional HR team to ensure effective deployment of the Change HR resource to meet the needs of the programme, ensuring comprehensive HR support is provided for the duration of the project. ? Ensure change processes are consistently implemented in each store whilst taking account of the store?s specific needs. ? Contribute to the development of change processes aimed at maximising investment and continually review effectiveness. ? Evaluate change interventions and ensure value is added by the Change team ? Liaise with Retail HR colleagues and the Operations Team to ensure appropriate support is provided in ad hoc change situations. ? Ensure store closures and TUPE transfers are executed effectively, maximizing redeployment opportunities and treating people equitably. ? Support the Head of HR :in identifying process refinements, training needs and the opportunity for new processes. ? Train and develop the capability of HRMs to deliver the transformation processes consistently and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. Proven track record of Change Management and Behavioural Training etc 2. Process driven with strong leadership skills 3. Of degree calibre, ideally with a HR or business qualification. 4. Minimum 5 years experience of management in a field or support role 5. Multi-site experience in the service sector 6. The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, at all levels and with all disciplines within the business. 7. Well-developed presentation skills with both large and small groups. 8. Strong analytical skills, enabling robust problem solving and decision making. 9. The ability to make decisions and plan to meet immediate business challenges but also to develop and implement 2-5 year strategic plans 10. The ability to challenge and influence across all disciplines and at all levels. 11. Track record in developing others to achieve objectives through teamwork and effective leadership. 12. The ability to lead by inspiring and motivating teams to achieve results with conviction, ethics and integrity. 13. Broad commercial awareness of the retail and economic environment in which the business operates.
